Gerrard's tenure with Liverpool spanned an impressive 710 appearances, during which he secured 9 prestigious trophies. In a recent interview, he recounted, "There were indeed numerous foreign clubs that showed an interest in my services, the majority hailing from Mourinho's stable, including Inter and Real Madrid, and this interest was recurrent. Furthermore, around the time Schweinsteiger departed Bayern, discussions with my representative about such possibilities had taken place."
