Montgomery emphasized, "To begin with, it's a fantastic outcome for us. We are all well aware of the challenges presented by this match. The high humidity, the long-haul flight, and the presence of many outstanding foreign players on the opposing team, all with exceptional individual skills, were factors we had to overcome. Both teams had a 50% possession rate, and there were opportunities to shift the momentum during the first half. However, it was our confidence that shone through. I am incredibly proud of everyone, especially since our key players, Spahic and Zhang Yuning, were still in Beijing. We are currently contending on three fronts, and despite the arduous journey, the result is gratifying. I want to extend my thanks to all our supporters, as we have heard your voices loud and clear. There's another crucial Super League match this weekend, and we will focus on our recovery. Fabio's goal was a masterpiece, and his performance as a substitute was outstanding. I am proud of every single player on the team."
