On October 7th, the London Transport Authority disclosed that the Piccadilly Line station had been shut down due to "infrastructural damage within the station." They assured that they are "assessing the situation" and are "striving to reopen the station as soon as possible." Spectators were advised to meticulously plan their journeys, with those attending the Arsenal versus Leeds United match at the Emirates Stadium this weekend being particularly encouraged to do so. Stations within walking distance of the stadium include Highbury & Islington, Euston, Finsbury Park, and Holborn, all of which offer public transportation to the stadium.
